Jacopo TOSO
VIOLA
Born in Trieste in 1992, he began studying violin when he was 10 years old with M° M. Shorf.
In 2002 he has been admitted at Conservatory "G. Tartini" of Trieste, where, in 2016, he successfully graduated in viola under the eyes of M° Amendola.
He attended many Masterclasses with important teachers like Vasja Legisa, Henry Varema, Johann Kropfitsch, Pietro Serafin and Fabrizio Merlini
He has collaborated with many orchestras in the whole North-east of Italy, conducted by Maestros like R. Muti, A. Fogliani, S. Kuret, P. Pelucchi and I. Zobin.
He played with many chamber music groups in important festivals (Art Night di Venezia, Mittelfest of Cividale, "Nei Suoni dei Luoghi").
In February 2013 he played with the Conservatory String Orchestra at the Quirinale Palace, with the presence of the President G. Napolitano.
In July 2014 he played the Requiem by G. Verdi conducted by M° R. Muti in Ravenna (RavennaFestival) and at the Sacrario di Redipuglia (concert broadcasted in the whole world by Rai1).
From 2012 to 2014 he has been violin at “Quartetto Tetrachord”, with whom he played in important festivals.
From 2014 he plays in the “Chagall Quartet", of which he is a founding member.
